Vault of Glass raid guide
The Vault of Glass takes place on Venus, an area that is currently only accessible through the new Legends node in the Director. The raid has a recommended Power of 1300, which shouldn’t be too difficult to reach given Destiny 2’s new lenient Power structure. For those that played the original Vault of Glass back in Destiny 1, most of the encounter remain the same though there are some slight changes.
Recommended weapons – Vault of Glass
While you can likely clear the Vault of Glass with whatever weapons you want or feel most comfortable using, there are some choices that will make it significantly easier for those teams that are struggling to hit DPS checks.
Stasis Trigger is a new quest in Destiny 2 that has players unlocking the Cryosthesia 77K Exotic Catalyst. This quest requires that players use this Stasis Sidearm to not only get combatant kills, but also Guardian kills in the Crucible. It’s quite a time-consuming task, so come prepared for a bit of a grind.
Stasis Trigger quest
Once you pick up Cryosthesia 77K (from the Season Pass or Monuments to Lost Lights), go and speak with Banshee-44 to get the Stasis Trigger quest.
The Stasis Trigger quest is given out by Banshee-44 as soon as you have Cryosthesia 77K in your inventory. This Exotic Sidearm was the Season of the Splicer Season Pass weapon, which means if you’re playing after the season is over, you’ll need to buy it from the Monument to Lost Lights using Exotic Ciphers.
In addition to the standard Vault of Glass weapons, Light.gg also displays a Timelost version of every weapon. These weapons are visually silver, but are identical in every other way to their base versions.
It seems likely that these Timelost weapons are actually the Adept versions of the Vault of Glass weapons. In a blog earlier this year, assistant game director Joe Blackburn said that Adept versions of raid and dungeon gear would launch alongside the Master Vault of Glass difficulty.
Adept weapons for Strikes and Trials have special mod slots that allow players to increase a weapon’s stats directly. Timelost weapons will likely work very similarly.
The Wardcliff Coil is, as one would expect from an Exotic Rocket Launcher, an incredibly unique weapon in Destiny 2. This space-technology lookin’ thing spews out tiny seeker rockets that obliterate just about every target. While it’s been around since Destiny 2 launched, and was even rumored to be an Exotic for the OG Destiny (Dubious Volley), it still sees intermittent use. Here’s what you should know about The Wardclidd Coil, from how to unlock it and its perks to whether it’s any good.
How to get The Wardcliff Coil Exotic Rocket Launcher
First up, to get The Wardcliff Coil Exotic Rocket Launcher, you must get it from a random world drop or by purchasing it from Xur. Both methods require a bunch of luck. Thankfully, there are numerous ways of getting Exotic Engram in Destiny 2, so you should come across one sooner than later.
