Ready for a fun, addictive and fast-moving game that has lots of surprising twists and turns? Join ALL for Mexican Train Express. This dominoes game does not have partners and can be played with two, three, four, five or more players. Organizers will show you some tricks and techniques. You may join our class any time during the year.

The talk is being organized by the Washtenaw Economic Club and will cover a variety of topics, including self-driving cars and the shift towards electric vehicles.
Washtenaw Economic Club event organizer Loren Townes says the technology has become especially important for Ann Arbor and the University of Michigan.
“Since we’ve become an epicenter for research and development, we have to make sure our transportation infrastructure is working together,” Townes says.

GLADSTONE John Robert Jackson, son of James R, and Elaine Jackson, of Gladstone passed away suddenly but peacefully in his sleep on April 29th 2021 at the age of 74.
A graduate of Rock High School, his dreams of a four-minute mile were cut short in the summer of 1963. A diving accident injured his spine leaving him functionally quadriplegic. The doctors at the time told him he would be confined to a motorized wheelchair for the rest of his days. A surprise to no one who knew him, John decided he knew better. He refused the motorized chair and went out and tackled the world.

ANN ARBOR, MI Peter Allen estimates Ann Arbor has a shortage of at least 5,000 to 10,000 housing units.
With supply low and prices high and rising, many people who are priced out of this expensive housing market drive an hour just to get to their jobs in the city, he said.

ANN ARBOR, MI The new manager of the Ann Arbor Farmers Market is hoping to develop a more diverse vendor community.
Stefanie Stauffer became Ann Arbor’s Farmers Market Manager in late May 2020, as the COVID-19 pandemic raged. As she stepped into her new role, new protocols were put into place due to the pandemic.
Although she faces obstacles from the pandemic, Stauffer hopes to develop a more diverse group of vendors as well as bring in a younger generation of vendors to ensure a continuing vibrant market.
