Date Time Upgrade for Bridge Street water main Toowoomba Regional Council is planning to upgrade the water main on Bridge Street between Raff Street and just east of Mary Street, Toowoomba. Council’s Water and Waste Committee Chair Cr Rebecca Vonhoff said the water main replacement would help to improve the reliability of the water supply to that area. “The works will involve construction of a new water main on the roadway which will mean temporary road and footpath closures,” Cr Vonhoff said. “During the first stage of works, Bridge Street will be closed to westbound traffic between Hume and Raff streets.
