Sitel Group®, a global leader in end-to-end customer experience (CX) products and solutions, today announced its commitment to education as part of its go-forward corporate social responsibility (CSR) strategy with donations to Plan International, the Association for Childhood Education International and the World Literacy Foundation in celebration of International Day of Education on January 24. Sitel Group is donating a total of $50,000 to be split amongst these three organizations.

POWNAL â The local public library and elementary school recently received new books through a grant worth around $5,000.
Under the Rural Libraries grant of the Childrenâs Literacy Foundation, the Solomon Wright Public Library got $2,500 worth of new books, $250 toward supplies for a pre-kindergarten reading program as well as free books for Pownal students.
The Pownal Elementary School Library, on the other hand, was awarded $500 worth of digital books and two storytelling events for local students.
Both libraries received their chosen books in mid-December after being identified as grant awardees in August, said Jen Ryan, director of the Solomon Wright Public Library, who applied for the grant.
