At the meeting, Tammy Stevenson was acclaimed as President of the organization. “My first year as President was in the middle of a pandemic, so that was pretty different but we were able to work through that difference situation as a group and now I’m excited for the fresh season here in the Fall.” Four others will remain on the board with Renee Waldbauer & Steven Sutton remaining as 1st and 2nd Vice-Presidents’ respectively, Dawn Melnychuk staying on as Governor, and Tara Badduke as Secretary.

Free summer lunch for kids in Billings

BILLINGS, Mont. - The Summer Meal Service for kids is starting back up on June 14.  All meals are free to all children ages 18 and younger. They will be given out from 12-1 p.m. starting June 14 at the following locations: Pioneer Park, Central Park, Castle Rock Park and Big Sky Elementary. Homeless Education Liaison for Billings Public Schools Sue Runkle said the summer meal program includes breakfast and lunch. Families can pick up the kids lunches and also, at that same time, they will get a bag with breakfast for the next morning, Runkle said. And, so they ll be getting two meals a day through this program.

The vaccination of people between 18-44 years was scheduled to begin from May 1 but due to non-availability of vaccines, the drive was postponed to Wednesday. Archana Mundir, Deputy Director of Madhya Pradesh Health Information, Education Communication (IEC) Bureau, informed that vaccination is being done in a phased manner in the state as per the availability of vaccines. Individuals who have just completed 18 years are eligible for vaccination. Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday are the days fixed for vaccination.
