The distinction comes as there has been a second COVID-19 case found in an individual in the Grade 2-3 split class. When two or more cases are found in a facility or school, it’s classified as an outbreak under the Saskatchewan Health Authority’s parameters. A formal letter from the SHA about the outbreak has been shared with families and the school community, as well as uploaded to the LPSD website.
