Jaret Patterson
NFL Comparison: Devonta Freeman
Player Overview
Patterson is actually a Maryland product, playing his high school ball at Pallotti in Laurel. At Buffalo, he had three consecutive 1,000 yard rushing seasons, and racked up accolades, from MAC Freshman of the Year to MAC Offensive Player of the Year honors. In 2020, he led FBS with 179 rushing yards per game in a season where he rushed for over 300 yards in back to back games.
Patterson’s pass catching production wasn’t great, but from his film, he’s clearly capable if called upon. Signed as an undrafted free agent by the WFT, he’s got the heart of a lion and seems to be the perfect sort of back to complement the other running back skills already on the roster.

Projected Draft Status: Round 2-3
NFL Comparison: Kirk Cousins
Player Overview
When Mills came out of high school in Georgia, in 2017, he was the highest rated QB prospect in the country. Mills suffered a knee injury in his final high school game that he re-injured just as he was done rehabbing it his freshman year at Stanford. He sat out his second year, recovering, and was completely healthy going into his redshirt sophomore year. That season, he started six games, filling in for injured starter KJ Costello, and played fairly well, setting a school record by passing for over 500 yards against Washington State at one point.

It’s great news for everyone, and therein may be a paradox you might not have considered. While there will likely be more jobs available for those who are out of work or underemployed, there may be more competition than you thought. Where from? Those already employed who have used the pandemic to re-evaluate their current job and want to change careers.
A question you need to ask is, how has the COVID-19 pandemic impacted the way you (or your children/grandchildren) look at your current career status and your readiness to make great future career decisions? Has it made you all rethink your values and priorities? The importance of money and material things? What you really want from your life? I believe it absolutely should be a time to review your life goals regardless of whether you are a hig
