When Anya Steinberg decided to learn more about the man who is her biological father, she was surprised to find out he s not what she expected. She had always been told the sperm donor was a doctor. It s a discovery that changed her view of herself and her future. The Colorado College senior shared her story in a podcast that won NPR s first-ever Student Podcast Challenge: College Edition. Previously open only to students in grades 5–12, the competition was expanded to college students for the first time this year.
