Students will protest against harassment
STUDENTS at the College of the Arts (COTA) in Katutura say they are tired of continuously being sexually harassed by taxi drivers operating between Windhoek and Okahandja whose rank is across the street from their school.
A protest by the students in this regard is scheduled to take place next Monday. The students will also protest against sexual harassment by mechanics working at the old compound, just adjacent to the college.
A statement released by the Acting Head of Department for Media and Technology Studies at COTA, Williams Auchab said that the harassment of female students has been going on for years.
