TC Energy: Q1 Earnings Snapshot

CALGARY ALBERTA, Alberta (AP) TC Energy Corporation (TRP) on Friday reported a first-quarter loss of $782 million, after reporting a profit in the same period a year earlier.
On a per-share basis, the Calgary Alberta, Alberta-based company said it had a loss of 85 cents. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs, were 89 cents per share.
The results surpassed Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of four analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 87 cents per share.
The energy infrastructure company posted revenue of $2.59 billion in the period.
TC Energy shares have increased 25% since the beginning of the year. The stock has increased almost 8% in the last 12 months.

A Manitoba born Metis, Joey Pringle grew up in the small town of Birch River, Manitoba. The soulful singer was raised on the farm with his brother, by his single father. Â On weekends if he didnât stay with his grandparents, he would go with his dad to gigs to watch his dad play from back of the stage. In junior high he started to play percussion and played through high school.
