Ben Howard Sets March Release For New Album Collections From The Whiteout , Shares New Track Wednesday, 27 January 2021
Ben Howard has announced a new album. Collections From The Whiteout marks the London BRIT Award winner s fourth full-length and is scheduled to arrive on March 26 via Island Records.
It was co-produced by the Mercury Prize nominee with the National s Aaron Dessner and is preceded by lead single What A Day, a breezy track driven by gentle guitar strumming. It comes with a video helmed by French director Cloé Bailly and was shot on location in Bulgaria. Howard said: This was a nonsense idea loosely thrown together on the Old English rhyme, back to back they faced each other, drew their swords and shot each other’ with a bit of animal hysteria thrown in. Cloe somehow transformed a basic countryside shoot ‘em up into an amazing tale of delightful retribution.
Bicep Announce Third London Show At O2 Academy Brixton Due To Demand Tuesday, 26 January 2021
Bicep have announced a third London show for this autumn.
Due to demand, the Belfast duo will now also play the O2 Academy Brixton on September 9, prior to their rescheduled and sold out shows at the venue on September 10 and 11. Tickets for the new date go on general sale at 10am on February 1.
The band are hitting the road in support of their second album, Isles , which arrived on January 22 and follows up their 2017 self-titled debut.

The Stranglers Reschedule UK Tour For Second Time To 2022 Monday, 25 January 2021
The Stranglers have moved their UK dates for a second time.
Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the legendary punk band have moved the 24-date run previously rearranged for March and April 2021 to January and February 2022.
The tour is dedicated to Dave Greenfield, the band’s longtime keyboardist, who died in May 2020 after battling the coronavirus.
Tickets purchased for the original shows are valid for next year s gigs, which will still feature support from special guests Ruts DC. Extra tickets are on sale now.

Declan McKenna has postponed his upcoming UK and European tour dates due to the continuing uncertainty surrounding live shows during the coronavirus pandemic.

“I’ve been waiting to know for sure that these dates are out of the question and now I’m sure you’ll understand that they very much are,” McKenna said in a statement confirming the postponement of his gigs.

He added: “I am determined to make sure they go ahead in the (not too distant) future. I think it is fair at this point not to announce new dates until we can all be sure they will go ahead, but go ahead they will, and tickets already purchased will remain valid.
