It has been a long while since we heard that familiar shout “BINGO!” Starting Tuesday August 3, Carnival Bingo will reopen to hear that delightful chant. It not only signifies that someone has completed a Bingo, but it also signals those charities in the region are winning as well. (Submitted photo) Carnival Bingo is one of north central Saskatchewan’s longest running Bingo halls and is quietly nestled behind a shelter of cedars just off 6 th Ave. E and Southwood Drive. Daily gatherings of friends and acquaintance assemble to try their luck at a favorite pastime. Little do we all know the impact this quiet bingo hall has on the community and the organizations and charities that work those afternoon, evening, and midnight bingos.
