In honor of Women’s History Month, Art House Productions, along with Hudson County Community College & Seton Hall University, present Art+Feminism Lecture on Wednesday, March 24 at 12:30 p.m. via Zoom.

On April 7 from 10:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. the Walsh Library and the Walsh Gallery will host Seton Hall’s second Art+Feminism Wikipedia edit-a-thon. All are invited to register to become “Wikipedians” and edit or create a Wikipedia page for an artist.

New radio play dramatizes terror attack at Black Tom

Playwright Martin Casella’s “Black Tom Island” has been adapted into a radio play by Art House Productions and is available for download.

On the morning of July 30, 1916, one of the largest artificial non-nuclear explosions took place in Jersey City when German saboteurs destroyed a U.S. munitions depot on Black Tom Island.
Playwright Martin Casella’s “Black Tom Island,” based on the actual incident and seen through the lens of a fictionalized Slovak immigrant and his wife, who may or may not have been involved in the attack, has now been adapted into a radio play by Art House Productions and is available for download.

Art House Productions is proud to present “The Very Affordable Art Show.” For the past three years, the Art House Gallery has hosted The Affordable Art Show with works $500 and under. This year, given the financial climate, all works are priced at $250 or less, hence “The Very Affordable Art Show.” Curated by Andrea McKenna, the show includes over 250 works of art from 54 artists. Showcasing special pieces with gift-giving in mind, all works are priced to be especially affordable for the holiday season. Works include paintings, small sculptures, handmade gifts, and more! All works will be for sale in the Art House Gallery, 262 17th Street, Jersey City, NJ 07310, and also made available for purchase online through the Art House Productions website. The show will be available through February 2021.
