Gather the family and head over to the Kentuck Art Center for April Art Night. The great part about this is that it s completely free!
Once a month, Kentuck hosts a community-wide free art night celebrating artists and their art. These art nights consist of pop-up shops featuring local vendors, live music, and of course some great artwork!

Art Night will also include pop up shops from Megan Austin and Caricatures by Kevin, along with live music from Soapy Jones & the Surprise Inside.
Masks will be required for entry and registration will be available at the Gallery Shop for guests when they arrive.

Fifteen art galleries from across Wellington have joined forces to host a new festival that aims to demystify and increase access to contemporary art. The
Face to Face: Portrait Festival, which opens on May 27, will feature the work of some of Aotearoa’s most celebrated artists, including Billy Apple, Yvonne Todd and Star Gossage, and mid-career artists such as Ayesha Green, Sam Mitchell, Claudia Kogachi. Jhana Millers Gallery, Bartley & Company Art, City Gallery Wellington, Lower Hutt’s The Dowse Art Museum and Te Papa Tongarewa are among the nine dealer galleries and six public galleries involved.
