Several crashes were reported along Interstate 94 in southeastern Wisconsin amid the snowstorm that arrived Tuesday morning, although reports off of the I were more quiet as the area was blanketed with snow, with some more minor crashes being reported.
Numerous schools that still have in-person schooling across the county â including the Burlington Area School District, Siena Catholic Schools, Union Grove Elementary School, Burlington Catholic School and others â closed buildings Tuesday because of the winter storm.

Operation Light It Up a success in Livingston County
Sheriff s operation concluded at Noyes Health in Dansville

DANSVILLE Sheriff Thomas J. Dougherty reports the first ever “OPERATION LIGHT IT UP” in Livingston County was a success, achieving its mission of brightening the day of senior citizens in nursing facilities and Noyes hospital in Dansville.
On Dec. 9, the Sheriff’s Office initiated the planning of the operation and invited all its public safety partners in policing, fire and EMS to join in the effort.
On Dec. 17, the mission became operational starting at the Sheriff’s Office at 5 p.m. and traveling throughout the county, ending in Dansville at 8 p.m.
