HALIFAX A 45-year-old Dartmouth man and 47-year-old Lower Sackville woman are facing charges after an assault involving a chainsaw, tree trimmer and vehicle on Sunday evening. Shortly after 6 p.m. on April 25, Halifax Regional Police responded to an disturbance call outside a residence in the 100-200 block of Caledonia Road in Dartmouth. Police say two men became involved in a physical altercation outside, and one man attacked the other with a chainsaw and tree trimmer. According to police, a third man intervened and stopped the altercation before anyone was injured. While he was intervening, the man was struck by a vehicle driven by a woman.

Halifax police say officers responded to a reported disturbance outside a home in Dartmouth Sunday evening.
Halifax police say two people have been charged following an attack Sunday evening that involved a chainsaw, tree trimmer and a car.
According to a news release from Halifax Regional Police, officers responded to a disturbance on Caledonia Road, a residential street in Dartmouth, around 6 p.m. Sunday.

A man and woman were charged after Chatham-Kent police went to a domestic disturbance at a Wallaceburg residence Thursday morning.
The 18-year-old woman was charged with assault and released with a May 21 court date.

Chatham-Kent police respond to 3 deer collisions in 1 hour
The three collisions occurred between 9 p.m. and 10 p.m. on Thursday, Chatham-Kent police said in a media release on Friday.
