Ford Mach-E Apparently Has Better Residual Values Than Mustang Coupe ++ This essentially means it holds its value better by the end of a three-year lease period.
Ford gambled when it called its first electric crossover a Mustang, but it seems that the decision paid off in the end - literally. According to
CarsDirect.com, the Mustang Mach-E’s predicted residual value after a three-year lease will be higher than what is expected of the traditional gas-burning Mustang coupe, even though the latter is an established model with decades of history and tradition behind it.
The automotive research company points to the fact that a 2021 Mustang Mach-E Select has a 36-month residual value of 56 percent, with some models like the California Route 1 Extended Range, Premium Extended Range (both RWD and AWD) bringing that up to 58 percent.
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) released final estimates for the range of Ford’s Mustang Mach-E ‘California Route 1’ trim option, which will go 305 miles (about 491km).
That estimate makes the California Route 1 trim the most efficient option of the Mustang Mach-E, although that was always Ford’s goal. Back when Ford unveiled the Mach-E in 2019, it listed the California Route 1 as capable of 475km range, with only the Premium trim rear-wheel-drive (RWD) extended range option matching that. According to
Road Show, the EPA confirmed that Premium trim of the Mach-E can do 300 miles on a charge (about 483km).
Electric vehicles normally have lower residual values than cars with internal combustion engines, but it's a different story for the Ford Mustang Mach-E.

The 2021 Ford Mustang Mach-E will do 300 miles on a full charge when equipped properly, but the California Route 1 trim will go just a little further, according to final estimates the EPA released this week: 305 miles. That makes it the most efficient Mustang Mach-E that will go on sale, as was always Ford s intention.
To squeeze just a little more range from the electric SUV, the California Route 1 trim comes exclusively with a rear-wheel drive layout and the extended-range battery. Happy 15th anniversary! This week the BLM celebrates the Cedar Mountain Wilderness Area, which was designated on January 6, 2006. This location was recognized for its outstanding solitude, wilderness character, and recreational opportunities. In the early 1980s, a portion of the area was established as a wilderness study area as the result of a BLM wilderness inventory mandated by the Federal Land Policy and Management Act. The Cedar Mountain Wilderness was designated by means of the National Defense Authorization Act of 2006.
