Centre likely to rope in Adani Enterprises for six-laning of bypass
The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) is still awaiting clarity from the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways on a proposal by INKEL Limited, a public-private partnership company promoted by the State government, seeking more time to provide bank guarantee on the Kozhikode bypass project.
Sources said INKEL had signed a contract with the NHAI for taking up the ₹1853.42-crore project after a Hyderabad-based construction firm failed to provide bank guarantee.

Ch. 203+000 (Ex. km 201+590) to Des. Ch. 205+100
(Ex. Km 203+900)] in the State of Kerala
on Hybrid Annuity Mode under
Bharatmala Pariyojna and to do all
necessary and incidental activities in this
regard.

Adani Enterprises Limited (AEL) has won a Rs 1,838-crore highway project from the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) in Kerala. The project granted under the Hybrid Annuity Mode (HAM) is part of the Bharatmala Pariyojna of the Centre. Adani Group is pleased to announce the award of another hybrid annuity road project from NHAI. AEL has recently participated in a tender issued by NHAI under HAM and we are pleased to inform you that AEL has received a letter of award (LOA) from NHAI, Adani Enterprises said in a filing to the BSE.
