Travis Scott has announced that his music festival will return on Nov. 5 and 6 at NRG Park in Houston, Texas. After it was canceled last year because of the pandemic, the third annual fest will expand to two days this year with a new theme, “Open Your Eyes to a Whole New Universe.”
Travis will once again serve as headliner and curate the 2021 lineup, which will be announced at a later date. Travis is also gearing up to release his highly-anticipated album
Utopia later this year.

The music festival looks to once again bring back the beloved spirit and nostalgia of AstroWorld, the legendary and now-defunct amusement park that was located across the street from the current festival grounds, after first opening in 1968. As Scott grew up in nearby Missouri City just outside of Houston and attended the park numerous times as a child, Astroworld Festival will once again help revive the magic while helping to ultimately make his lifelong dream come true.
The last Astroworld held in 2019 welcomed a sold-out crowd of 50,000, according to event organizers. Past festival performances have included Post Malone, Rosalia, Pharrell Williams, Da Baby, Lil Wayne, Young Thug, Playboi Carti and Megan Thee Stallion, among many others.
