WASHINGTON, DC Less than a month after it reopened to the public, the National Museum of African American History And Culture will host several June events, including a virtual observance of Juneteenth and the 100th anniversary of the Tulsa Race Massacre.
The museum, which opened May 14, is hosting an entire day of programming that includes storytelling, music and culinary arts presentations to commemorate Juneteenth. In commemoration of the anniversary of the Tulsa Race Massacre, the museum is highlighting community resilience that will take place during discussions and a digital collection portal that allows people from around the country to contribute, museum officials said Tuesday.

Financial nonprofit develops online learning lab

FARMINGTON HILLS As COVID-19 continues to take its toll on people, GreenPath Financial Wellness is making things a little easier for people to take control of their finances.
The Farmington Hills based nonprofit recently launched an online learning lab, which is a free, self-paced learning portal designed to improve one’s overall financial health.
The resource can be found at greenpath.com/learninglab/.
“Financial stress is a reality for many people, especially given the uncertainties of the ongoing pandemic,” GreenPath President and CEO Kristen Holt said in a press release. “Getting proven information and education is critical for individuals who are navigating financial challenges. GreenPath’s Learning Lab allows people to access carefully designed learning activities created by financial education specialists.”
