Skywarn Spotter Training: various dates in April, via GoToWebinar. National Weather Service Duluth is offering classes to teach Northlanders about severe weather safety, the science of storms and the importance of weather spotters. Basic Class dates: April 12, noon; April 13, 6:30 p.m.; April 14, 10 a.m.; April 15, 6:30 p.m.; April 21, 6:30 p.m. Advanced Class dates: April 27, 10 a.m.; April 28, 2 p.m.; April 29, 6:30 p.m. Free.
