KCSO looking for missing man last seen in a white Ford Ranger

(KERO) â The Kern County Sheriff s Office is searching for a missing 68-year-old man last seen in his vehicle on April 10.
KCSO said Charles Prunty has blonde hair, is 6-feet, 2-inches tall and weighs around 165 pounds. He was last seen in a 4-door white Ford Ranger.
Anyone with information regarding Pruntyâs whereabouts is asked to contact the Kern County Sheriffâs Office at (661) 861-3110 or Secret Witness at (661) 322-4040.

WASCO, Calif. (KERO) â The Kern County Sheriff s Office is investigating a homicide in Wasco.
At 10:30 p.m. deputies were called to the area of Broadway and 8th Place. KCSO says deputies found an injured man. He was rushed to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Homicide detectives say the investigation is ongoing. If anyone has information on this case call the sheriff s office at 861-3110

A five-year-old police dog named Jango, described as faithful, was shot and killed by a vehicle theft suspect Tuesday night in Bakersfield, California, who also died after officers returned fire, the Bakersfield Police Department (BPD) confirmed in a statement Wednesday.
Jango died after he accompanied Bakersfield police officers in pursuit of an unnamed male suspect in a reported stolen vehicle on Highway 58 who did not stop for officers and eventually fled the vehicle on foot to a residence on Feliz Drive.
When located, the suspect fired a weapon.

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KERO) â (UPDATE 9:30 A.M.): The Shafter Police Department and the Kern County Sheriff s Office said they have cleared the area of Aspen Way in their search for the Johnson.
The search continues citywide.
(UPDATE 8:30 A.M.): One of the inmates who escaped from the Lerdo Justice Facility Wednesday morning has been caught in Shafter.
The City of Shafter announced David Palms was arrested by Shafter Police. Tyrone Johnson is still at-large and believed to be in the area of Aspen Way in Shafter.
