Carol Madden, 69, said her airline “utterly failed to implement the most basic precautions to safeguard the health and wellbeing” during a mandatory training session last July at Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport. She’s asking for $3 million in damages. Her lawsuit says that she was exposed to COVID-19 during the training and that both she and her husband were positively diagnosed a few days later. Madden’s husband, William, died a month later.
