The Walking Dead “Diverged” was written by Heather Bellson and was directed by David Boyd. This is Bellson’s first episode since season six’s “Always Accountable” – the origin story of Dwight (Austin Amelio) and Sherry (Christine Evangelista). This episode begins with Carol’s (Melissa McBride) voiceover – and I’m still not loving the voiceover thing which reminds me of a bad CW show. This particular “filler” episode gives us a long metaphorical insight into Carol and Daryl (Norman Reedus) continuing to regroup now that the fight with the Whisperers is over. Daryl spends most of the episode trying to fix his bike and Carol spends most of it trying to get a rat out of her house. They start the episode by literally taking different roads and end up back at the same house…

TWD fans hoping that the show has been renewed.
They have good news:
The Walking Dead has indeed been renewed for Season 11. In fact, Season 11 was ordered way back in October 2019 by AMC, when it was also announced that Lauren Cohan would return as Maggie as she did in the first of the current season bonus episodes.
The Walking Dead burst out of the gate ten years ago as a genre show that had all the character depth of a top-tier prestige drama, Sarah Barnett, president of AMC Networks Entertainment Group & AMC Studios, said in a statement.
What year does
The Walking Dead take place? Here s Negan reveals an updated zombie apocalypse timeline when the prequel episode flashes back to just before the global outbreak of an unknown virus. At the start of
The Walking Dead s extended Season 10 finale, more than a decade has passed since a comatose Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) first woke up in a world gone bye in the 2010 series premiere. In Season 2 of spin-off
Fear the Walking Dead, fresh grave markers for the Suarez family confirm the global outbreak of the Wildfire virus occurred in late 2010 the same year where most of Here s Negan is set.
