Flowers at the scene of the crash in Bromley Lane, Kingswinford. Pic: Jacob King/PA Wire More than £720k will be spent on making the borough’s roads safer - including measures on a Kingswinford road where a horror crash which killed four teenagers happened. Under the local safety scheme programme, nine projects have been confirmed including proposed measures on Bromley Lane, near the site of last year s fatal collision and the remarking of Cinder Bank and Flood Street roundabouts to improve traffic flow. School zones will be created outside six primary schools across the borough - Lutley Primary in Halesowen, Red Hall in Gornalwood and Netherbrook Primary in Dudley as well as outside Thorns Primary, Thorns Collegiate Academy and Old Park School in Quarry Bank as part of the safer routes to school programme.
