Covid-19 Ireland cases today update as 394 infections and no further deaths confirmed

A total of 394 more people have tested positive for coronavirus in Ireland, while no further deaths have been confirmed.
The latest figures were released by the Department of Health this evening.
Of today s new cases, 175 were in Dublin, while there was 34 in Kildare, 21 in Galway, 21 in Mayo, 20 in Limerick and the remaining 123 cases are spread across 18 other counties.
It comes after it emerged that Ireland s National Immunisation Advisory Committee (NIAC) is expected to recommend that AstraZeneca s Covid-19 vaccine be restricted for use for people over the age of 60.
