Taste the flavors of African American, African and Caribbean cuisines by stopping by the eateries taking part in Alabama’s first-ever Black Restaurant Week. The event, underway through Dec. 20, features Black-owned restaurants, pop-ups and food trucks in the Birmingham, Montgomery and Mobile areas, along with fun ways to win prizes.
Alabama’s Black Restaurant Week is part of a nationwide effort aimed at stimulating growth of African American-owned businesses and farms across the United States. Through its various culinary events and campaigns, Black Restaurant Week helps introduce these businesses and professionals to the community.
