The punt landed on the four and took an abrupt right turn, as if God himself had decided to intervene with a brief misapplication of the rules of physics. In my experience punts do not do this. Usually they continue forward on their merry way. Sometimes they'll catch the turf in a particular way and bounce backwards, which still would have been great for Iowa but not quite as great as what happened. Which was, again, a punt hitting inside the five and veering away from the endzone like it was remote-controlled. It settled at the two.
Behind me, an Iowa fan exclaimed "RON COLUZZI IS A GOLDEN GOD." You, dear reader, may think this was some sort of cynical punt-to-win exclamation from a fanbase that hasn't had much else to hold onto this year. I do not think this was the case. Nate Johnson got a crystal ball from 24/7’s Sam Webb and a FutureCast from Rivals’s EJ Holland recently. Johnson ran a 10.49 100-meter-dash at a meet last weekend per his coach. For reference, Tyrone Wheatley put up a 10.46 at Michigan, Denard’s personal best was 10.44, and the mathematics of the Universal Standard Model of Quarterback Physics breaks down at around 10.42.

Chris Evans may not have had the college career some expected, but he did enough to warrant interest from an NFL team.
The Michigan running back was selected by the Cincinnati Bengals in the sixth round of the 2021 NFL Draft, pick No. 202 overall, on Saturday the Wolverines’ seventh player off the board this year.
Evans is the first Michigan running back to be drafted since Mike Hart in 2008. He follows three other offensive players picked this year by NFL teams: lineman Jalen Mayfield (No. 68, Falcons) and receiver Nico Collins (No. 89, Texans) in the third round, and fullback Ben Mason (No. 184, Ravens) in the fifth round.
