Last Tuesday, the Makabayan bloc filed House Resolution 1427 which urged the House Justice Committee to conduct an investigation, in aid of legislation, on the warrants issued by Judge Burgos-Villavert against various activists.

The coalition on Tuesday filed House Resolution 1427 urging the House Justice Committee to conduct an investigation, in aid of legislation, on the warrants issued by Quezon City Regional Trial Court Judge Cecilyn Burgos-Villavert against activists. IAS recommends dismissal of cop tagged in Parojinog sexual assault

SunStar + December 16, 2020 THE Philippine National Police-Internal Affairs Service (IAS) has recommended the dismissal of Police Colonel Jigger Noceda, who was accused of sexual assault by detained former Ozamiz City vice mayor Nova Princess Parojinog. IAS inspector general Alfegar Triambulo said Noceda was found guilty of two counts of grave misconduct, one for act of lasciviousness and one for rape by sexual assault. He said the recommendation was submitted to PNP Chief Debold Sinas for approval. In October, Parojinog’s legal counsel, with the assistance of the PNP Women and Children’s Center, filed rape charges against Noceda, then the chief of the PNP custodial center, before the Quezon City Regional Trial Court.
