Four different drivers were involved in the crash Share Updated: 3:35 PM CDT Mar 14, 2021 KMBC 9 News Staff Police are investigating two separate crashes at the same location that killed a woman. It happened near NW 59th Street and Nogard Avenue near Thomson Park around 3 a.m. Sunday. Police say an SUV hit a sedan head-on, sending the sedan a block before it stopped. The driver and passenger got out and ran from the scene. Shortly after, a good Samaritan stopped by to check on the driver of the SUV when she was hit by a pick-up. Police say the woman was in her late 50s. The driver of the SUV was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Police took the pick-up driver into custody.
