Lawn Oklahoma merges with Green Group

TULSA, Okla. – Green Group, a national turf care company, recently partnered with Lawn Oklahoma to further build on their entry into the Tulsa market.
Lawn Oklahoma specializes in lawn care, tree and shrub care, and mosquito control services for both commercial and residential properties in the Tulsa metro. Lawn Oklahoma merged into Green Group Oklahoma, taking on the Green Group name. The company retained all Lawn Oklahoma employees and is transitioning them to Green Group.
As part of the partnership, Green Group will expand service offerings to the Tulsa market.
Monarch Landscape Companies hires Chris Perry
Perry was named director of sales for Monarch’s installation division.
LOS ANGELES – Chris Perry, who has more than 30 years of industry experience, has joined Los Angeles-based Monarch Landscape Companies, a growing family of landscape companies.
Perry was named director of sales for Monarch’s Installation Division. He will be based in Northern California working with the Jensen Installation business in California and Washington.
Prior to joining Monarch, Perry served in branch management and business development roles at BrightView/ValleyCrest. He spent 17 years with the company selling some of their most notable projects in Colorado, including The Gaylord Rockies Hotel, Charles Schwab Corporate Campus, The Canyons, and Block 162 in downtown Denver.

Blount rebrands as Oregon Tool
The new name pays homage to the company’s origins.

Blount, Inc. unveiled a new corporate name – Oregon Tool. The global manufacturer of professional
grade cutting tools and equipment selected Oregon Tool as its new name to
harness the power of its pioneering origin story.
The company was founded by
Joe Cox in 1947 in the basement of his Portland home. Inspired by nature, Cox
studied a timber beetle larva to understand how to cut wood more efficiently.
With his learnings, he designed a new saw chain that was modeled after the
larva’s alternating C-shape jaws. He called it the “Cox Chipper Chain” and
