24 January, 2021, Port of Spain: Minister of National Security, the Honourable Stuart R. Young M.P. is urging members of the Trinidad and Tobago Fire Service (TTFS), to always remember how important a role they play in the national security and public safety apparatus of Trinidad and Tobago.
Minister Young gave the advice as he delivered the feature address, when he presided over the ceremony for the consecration and presentation of Colour (Flag) of the Trinidad and Tobago Fire Service (TTFS), which took place at the Grand Stand, Queen’s Park Savannah in Port of Spain on Sunday January 24, 2021.

Ministry of National Security receives donation of PPE from People s Republic of China
Port of Spain: Today, Friday December 11, 2020, Minister of National Security the Honourable Stuart R. Young M.P. accepted a quantity of personal protective equipment (PPE) from recently-appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China to Trinidad and Tobago His Excellency Fang Qiu.
During the brief handover ceremony at the Ministry of National Security’s Head Office on Abercromby Street, Port of Spain, Minister Young took the opportunity to welcome His Excellency Qiu to Trinidad and Tobago. He expressed his gratitude to the Ambassador for the provision of the equipment, stating that the items will assist in Government’s efforts to mitigate the spread of COVID-19 in this country.
