Apr. 28 The parent of a middle school student was seriously injured after being struck by another parent's vehicle Tuesday afternoon following an argument outside of Carl Bruce Middle School, according to the Kansas City, Kansas Police Department. The incident was related to a disagreement between a small group of female students outside the school, police said. No students were injured, .
At least one person has died and four injured at a shooting in Kansas City, Missouri, on Sunday night.
Police arrived at the scene of the shooting in the 18th and Vine district shortly after 10 p.m, but were unable to locate the gunman.
Kansas City Police Department Public Information Officer Donna Drake said the shooting had started as a result of an argument.

Officials said that two suspects are in custody after an armed robbery and short standoff.
The Mayes County Sheriff s office said that officers responded to a shots fired call at a home in Rose, Oklahoma that they said was an armed robbery. They said the suspects, a man and a woman, then barricaded themselves in a convenience store in Delaware County.
The Delaware County Undersheriff James Beck said after a standoff at the convenience store for an hour and half, the man left his hiding spot in the bathroom and surrendered to the Cherokee Nation Special Operations Team.
