West Virginia American Water announced today that Michael Raymo has been named Director of Engineering for the company. Raymo replaces Brett Morgan who recently retired from West Virginia American Water after nearly 35 years of dedicated service.
Raymo, a graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point and Army veteran, joins West Virginia American Water after serving in American Water’s Military Services Group for the last 10 years, most recently as the Director of Capital and Assessment Management and Regional Director of Operations. Sherritt International Corporation (“Sherritt”) (TSX:S) today announced production results for the fourth quarter and full-year ended December 31, 2020 and provided guidance for expected production, unit costs and capital spending in 2021.
Highlights
Finished nickel production at the Moa Joint Venture (“Moa JV”) in 2020 on a 100% basis was 31,506 tonnes, largely in line with guidance of 32,000 to 33,000 tonnes for the year. Production was negatively impacted by railway service disruptions in Q1, an extended plant shutdown in Q3 due to additional found work scope and reduced contractor availability due to COVID-19, and by unplanned repairs to autoclaves in Q4.

Orion Group Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: ORN) (the “Company”) a leading specialty construction company, today announced contract awards totaling approximately $27 million.
The Company’s Concrete segment has been awarded several contracts to provide concrete and associated paving services. In the Central Texas region, the Company has been awarded an $11.6 million contract to construct a large tilt-wall distribution center. The Company has been awarded five additional contracts totaling $15.1 million for various tilt wall and paving projects; four in the greater Dallas/Fort Worth area and one in the Houston market. Work on all these projects will commence in the late first quarter to early second quarter of 2021 and be completed before year end.

Granite Awarded $48 Million Construction Manager/General Contractor Bridge Contract in California

Granite (NYSE:GVA) has been awarded the Cosumnes Bridge Parent Package of the Construction Manager/General Contractor (CMGC) contract for the Cosumnes Bridge Replacement Project by the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) in Sacramento County, California. This CMGC contract is the final award of a seven-part phased delivery of the overall $167 million project. This $48 million contract is anticipated to be included in Granite’s first quarter 2021 backlog.
