11 year old Alexa Yeo from Goderich has won the top honour at Canadian Foundation for Economic Education (CFEE) The National Virtual Money Fair.
She won $2000 as the national winner.
Alexa highlights her project including how she will be giving back.
A $2000 grand prize was won recently by a 11 year old from Goderich.
Alexa Yeo won the top honour at the Canadian Foundation for Economic Education The National Virtual Money Fair.
Alexa came up with the concept of using her talents as a musician to play shows, earn some money to replace her instrument, and still give back to charities.
Now she has some advice for anyone looking to save up some money.
Alexa says she decided to start a business because she realized her harp didn’t have enough strings to compose new songs so she wanted to purchase a new instrument.

As Mississauga student Rayyan Husain spent more time at home during the pandemic, he started cooking meals for friends and family. It all started as an activity. He baked a pie, which was really good. He asked, Can I sell it? And with all the TV and screen time happening these days, I said, Sure why not? Anything to keep you away from the screen, said his mom Muniza Akhtar.
