Celebrate Sunday Mass - Fourth Sunday of Lent - 3.14.21
Dear Catholic Online Community and Catholic Online School students.
I AM HAPPY TO OFFER EACH OF YOU AN INVITATION TO SUNDAY MASS ON THE FOURTH SUNDAY OF LENT in the Catholic Diocese of Tyler. The response to offering these liturgies online has been overwhelming. The readings, as always, offer so much for us to reflect on. It is helpful to pray through them and reflect upon them before we assist at Holy Mass.
In our first reading, we see what happens when the leaders of Nations turn away from God. In this instance, it was Zedekiah, the twentieth and last King who reigned over Judah. His horrid behavior ended with the Babylonian destruction of Jerusalem and the return of the Jewish people to captivity in Babylon.

SMITH COUNTY, Texas (KLTV) - A massive Catholic community is in the works in East Texas.
It’s set to sit on nearly 600 acres of land near Winona, complete with houses, education facilities, and places of worship. It’s called Veritatis Splendor − or Splendor of Truth.
Co-founder Kari Beckman says the idea came to her after she noticed a disturbing trend.
“We were facing a crisis of faith when quite frankly the world was faced, for the first time certainly in our lifetime, with a pandemic and I think that that really illuminated the need for hope,” Beckman said.
Dear Catholic Online Community and Catholic Online School students.
I AM HAPPY TO OFFER EACH OF YOU AN INVITATION TO SUNDAY MASS ON THE SECOND SUNDAY OF LENT in the Catholic Diocese of Tyler. The response to offering these liturgies online has been overwhelming. The readings, as always, offer so much for us to reflect on. It is helpful to pray through them and reflect upon them before we assist at Holy Mass.
Our first reading for today s Mass is not only an important historical account in Salvation history, it is rich with allegorical meaning and was the favorite of many writings of reflection in the Christian Tradition. It is the familiar story of the faith of Abraham and the test which he endured, and which he passed. That test showed the depth of the faith of this man called our father in faith in the Canon of the Holy Mass. He knew what the Lord had promised in giving Isaac to he and Sarah so late in life, but more importantly, He put His faith in the Lord of the promise.

The readings, as always, offer so much for us to reflect on. It is helpful to pray through them and reflect upon them before we assist at Holy Mass.
Our first reading for today s Holy Mass is taken from the 9th chapter of the first Book of the Hebrew Scriptures, the Old Testament. It follows the account of the flood which ravished the earth because of the sin of its inhabitants. The Lord chose Noah, a righteous man, and his sons, through which to begin again.

Dear Catholic Online Community and Catholic Online School students.
I AM HAPPY TO OFFER EACH OF YOU AN INVITATION TO SUNDAY MASS ON THE SIXTH SUNDAY IN ORDINARY TIME in the Catholic Diocese of Tyler. The response to offering these liturgies online has been overwhelming. The readings, as always, offer so much for us to reflect on. It is helpful to pray through them and reflect upon them before we assist at Holy Mass.
Our first reading is taken from the 13th chapter of the Book of Leviticus. This entire section sets forth laws about food, childbirth, skin disease and infections. The Book of Leviticus was a manual of sorts, intended to instruct Gods people Israel on living the Law and the covenant.
