Expect snow on Monday â and more on Thursday

Much of Utah will see snow on Monday â and another storm could bring the state a white New Yearâs Eve.
According to the National Weather Service, a winter storm system will move across Utah on Monday and Monday night, bringing âwidespread accumulating snowfallâ mostly to areas south of Interstate 80. And the storm will impact travel across southern and central Utah.
In Salt Lake City, thereâs a 60% chance of snow during the day, with accumulations of less than an inch of snow possible. The chance of precipitation falls to 50% Monday night, with additional accumulation of less than half an inch possible.
