Newswise The Department of Energy  (DOE) today awarded $2.1 million across 9 collaborative projects between DOE national laboratories and private industry aimed at overcoming challenges in fusion energy development. Fusion energy research seeks to harness the energy that powers the sun and stars as a clean, safe, and abundant source of energy on earth. Today’s awards are part of the Innovation Network for Fusion Energy (INFUSE) program which was established in 2019 by DOE’s Office of Fusion Energy Sciences (FES) and seeks to accelerate fusion energy development through public-private research partnerships. “After two successful years of INFUSE, it is clear that the program offers significant benefit to the fusion community,” said

Messenger KUWAIT CITY, June 30, (KUNA): The Central Bank of Kuwait (CBK) on Tuesday attended the Bank for International Settlements (BIS) 91st Annual General Meeting. It is the second consecutive year that CBK attends as a shareholding institution. The meeting agenda included approving the audited financial statements of the BIS and the proposed dividend and profit allocation for the financial year 2020/21. The Governor of the Central Bank of Kuwait, Dr. Mohammad Y. Al- Hashel stated that “CBK’s membership comes in line with pursuing its goal to strengthen relationships with international financial institutions, and to fortify its role in developing monetary and prudential policies.”

Eco Wave Power and Queen Mary University of London Awarded a Grant by the Wohl Clean Growth Alliance News provided by Share this article Share this article STOCKHOLM, June 28, 2021 /PRNewswire/ Leading global wave energy developer Eco Wave Power (Eco Wave Power Global, Ticker Symbol: ECOWVE) and the UK Queen Mary University of London (QMUL), are pleased to announce the approval of a grant by the Wohl Clean Growth Alliance. The grant is awarded to the parties with the goal of promoting and facilitating the establishment of a long-term research collaboration between Professor Guang Li and Dr. Kamyar Mehran from Queen Mary University of London, and Eco Wave Power s engineering team. The research collaboration will focus on further development and improvement of the control system for the Eco Wave Power wave energy convertor, to enable a faster commercial rollout of the EWP technology.
