Annual awards ceremony To celebrate the efforts of students who are striving to become alert, informed and active citizens, Desh Apnayen Sahayog Foundation recently hosted its annual awards ceremony with author Rohini Nilekani as the Chief Guest. The Champion Schools Award was presented to 10 schools, while 20 teachers received the Champion Teachers Award. The President and Vice President of the most active Desh Apnayen ACTIZENS’ Clubs were also felicitated Centre for the Specially-Abled Rishihood University recently announced the launch of a Centre for the Specially-Abled, which aims to create a level playing field for those with disabilities and provide them with improved access to mainstream opportunities. Specialised education programmes will be conceptualised in consultation with non-profit organisations to address the lack of trained instructors. The long-term goal is to improve representation of the specially abled in mainstream corporations.

SAVI intros club for best AV dealers

Jan. 28, 2021 SAVI Controls, a manufacturer of commercial AV control and automation solutions, has launched its SAVI Innovators Club. This club will provide benefits to SAVI 3 programmers, system designers and business partners, according to a press release. SAVI will provide early access to the new SAVI hardware line, software updates and first right of refusal for beta programs. Club members can also serve on the SAVI Advisory Council, according to the release. We work with commercial dealers of all sizes and recognize not all have the time or resources to devote to marketing, John Dorsey, CEO, SAVI, said in the release. We want to help our dealers thrive, especially during this time, so we ll be prominently featuring Innovators Club members on our website and social media.

Admission: Free entry Meetings of the Inventors Club at the British Library are continuing on ZOOM during 2021. Join us at the club, designed to help you refine, protect and commercialise that new product idea you’ve been tinkering with. In the Zoom environment there will be no Non-disclosure Agreement, so participants will need to be aware of not disclosing critical aspects of their product ideas (particularly any patentable features). The meeting will be hosted by Bob Lindsey, an experienced innovator, and Mark Sheehan, Inventor-in-residence at the British Library There is an opportunity for past presenters to update us on their progress, and how the incidence of Covid-19 has affected their progress.

Outreach Nepal wins ECI Awards in Shanghai China - Everything Experiential

Outreach Nepal wins ECI Marketing Innovation Award for their “Basic Humanity” campaign, which was initiated in the beginning of March this year, amidst of the global pandemic, when the entire world were locked inside houses with limited resources. ECI festival was held in Shanghai on 16th to 18th December. ECI Awards was founded by IECIA (International Entrepreneurs, Creatives & Innovators Association). ECI presents the global award in the arena of digital economy, which measures “effectiveness of Innovation” as the evaluation criteria. It recognizes the most innovative achievements in the categories of business model, product, service, technology, marketing and management to encourage and inspire innovations applied in commercial and creative industries around the world.
