Teijin subsidiary adds 25,000-ton press New line is scheduled to begin operating in the first quarter of 2022. 28th May 2021 Continental Structural Plastics (CSP), a subsidiary of Teijin and one of the world’s largest manufacturers of composite components, is expanding its facility in Sarepta, Louisiana. The company has purchased a long fibre thermoplastic (LFT-D) line that includes a Dieffenbacher press with a pressing force of 2,500 tons (25,000 kN). CSP will use the new line, which is scheduled to begin operating in the first quarter of 2022, to produce tailgate covers for pickup trucks. CSP has operated three Dieffenbacher LFT-D lines with identically constructed presses in Sarepta for 20 years.
