Zedcrest Restructures, Gets new CFO

Zedcrest Group has announced the appointment of Olumide Odewole as its new Chief Financial Officer, CFO, and a member of the executive management. Odewole’s new role required him to scale the group’s operations, while driving cultural change and strong sustainable performance. He is bringing onboard 15 years’ experience in Global business leadership, Corporate Finance, Deal Structuring and Fund Raising, Risk Management and Control, Financial and Treasury Management. Others included: P&L and Budget Management and Direction, Performance Management, Strategic Planning and Execution, Financial Analysis and Reporting, Product and Venture Development, amongst others. Prior to joining Zedcrest Group, Odewole was the Chief Operating Officer with Monument Group, a diversified company with interest in key sectors of the Nigerian Economy, from November 2017 to December 2020.

These have included writers, directors, sound designers, performers, designers, composers and more. If we do say so ourselves, we have a bit of a track record with some great picks – those listed have often gone on to achieve exciting things. This year though, it s different. Our arts world has taken a bit of a bruising and though the Cultural Recovery Fund certainly did prop up venues and keep lights on (even when they had to be flicked off and back on with the fluctuating tier guidance), our freelance cohort, in particular, has been deprived of assistance and left to make do where possible.

Lubbock church employee indicted, charged with bank fraud Lisa Dawn Stabeno (Source: Lubbock Police) By Brad Burt | December 10, 2020 at 4:08 PM CST - Updated December 10 at 4:53 PM LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) - A grand jury has indicted a woman on charges of bank fraud, accusing her of using money from a Lubbock church’s community outreach program to pay for personal expenses and vacations including Disney Land and Las Vegas. According to court documents, from 2013 to 2018, Lisa Dawn Stabeno worked as Accounts Manager for Lubbock non-denominational Church on the Rock’s “Dream Center,” an outreach program “founded for ministry to underserved individuals in East Lubbock.”
