Braucht die Stadt noch weitere Hochhäuser? Das neue RömerBündnis ist da skeptisch: „Bei der weiteren Fortschreibung des Hochhausrahmenplans wollen wir grundsätzlich mit Zurückhaltung vorgehen“, heißt es im Koalitionsvertrag, den die Grünen, SPD, FDP und Volt ausgehandelt haben. Die Corona-Pandemie habe gezeigt, dass die Nachfrage nach Büroflächen und auch nach luxuriösen Wohnungen zurückgegangen sei. „Wir stellen fest, dass mit den bisher ausgewiesenen Standorten die Büro-Nachfrage bis Ende des Jahrzehnts gedeckt werden kann.“
