The National Disaster Management Centre has dismissed rumours of an impending curfew to be enforced prior to the arrival of TC Yasa.
Responding to questions from this newspaper the NDMO dismissed the rumours saying they were not true.
In an interview yesterday interview Police Chief Operations Officer Assistant Commissioner of Police Abdul Khan said there were no plans to change the current curfew hours adding it would carry on from 11pm to 4am.
“We are advising those deciding to put out to sea to please refrain from doing so for their own safety and for all to be updated with weather updates on our various media platforms,” ACP Khan said.
