On September 17, 2020, Capcom announced two new Monster Hunter games exclusively for the Nintendo Switch during Nintendo s Direct Mini Partner Showcase. Monster Hunter Rise, which is the next installment in the flagship Monster Hunter titles after Monster Hunter World, and Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin.
It is the newest installment in the RPG spinoff series, Monster Hunter Stories.
