North Korea Is Getting Nearly 2 Million Coronavirus Vaccines
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention does not buy that North Korea has really managed to remain coronavirus-free.
The North Korean regime has claimed since last year, rather implausibly, that the country has had no cases of the coronavirus. But soon, North Korea will receive some coronavirus vaccine.
According to a report Thursday by the Yonhap News Agency, which cited the vaccination organization COVAX Facility, COVAX will distribute 1.992 million doses of the AstraZeneca/Oxford vaccine in the first half of 2021. North Korea is believed to have a population of about 25.8 million.

It is becoming more and more clear who the Biden administration is choosing to fill its diplomatic posts. The diplomatic lineup includes hardliners who have dealt with North Korean policy in the past and are intimately familiar with the nature of the North Korean regime. Kim Jong Un presented his “people-first policy” as the fundamental principles of socialism at the Eighth Party Congress which was held for eight days in North Korea since Jan. 5. He also emphasized that people should be regarded with the utmost importance. However, these kind of concepts are nothing more than slogans that are used to control the public and evoke a sense of loyalty. In his report to the Eighth Party Congress held from Jan. 5 to 7, North Korean leader Kim Jong Un said North Korea is “conducting research into perfecting the guidance technology for multi-warhead rockets at the final stage,” according to the Korea Central News Agency (KCNA).
The “guidance technology for multi-warhead rockets” Kim mentioned seems to refer to multiple independently targetable reentry vehicle (MIRV) technology. Usually, a single ballistic missile carries a single warhead. When a missile carries multiple warheads, it is called a multiple reentry vehicle (MRV). MIRVs take this one step further. All of the warheads in an MRV follow the same trajectory, while a MIRV’s warheads can be directed at different targets.

North Korea forms new research center focused on “hypersonic missiles”

Able to travel at over Mach 5, hypersonic missiles are a next-generation weapon that can theoretically hit any place on the planet within three hours.
Unlike conventional ballistic missiles, hypersonic missiles do not follow a simple ballistic trajectory. Accordingly, military experts count them among the major weapons that will change the face of future warfare.
