OnePlus revealed its vision of building a connected ecosystem of products back in 2019. That was just before the launch of its first TV, the OnePlus Q1 Pro. The TV launched in India to much fanfare, and OnePlus followed it up with the budget-focused 55U1 and entry-level Y series last year.
OnePlus also delved into wireless earbuds, rolling out the OnePlus Buds and Buds Z last year, which joined the Bullets Z neckbuds. And earlier this year, OnePlus finally made its debut in the wearable segment with the OnePlus Band, a rebranded OPPO Band that s available exclusively in India.

With so many cheap Wi-Fi 6 routers available, it s easy to miss the routers like the Nighthawk RAX120 that are pushing the limits of what s possible in wireless. The Nighthawk RAX120, also known as the Nighthawk AX12, is named thanks to the 12-stream AX6000 Wi-Fi 6 hardware it s packing under the hood. With eight streams dedicated to 5GHz and 4 for 2.4GHz, the RAX120 can handle four simultaneous full-speed Wi-Fi 6 devices without breaking a sweat.
The Nighthawk also packs in six Ethernet ports with one dedicated to the incoming internet connection, one for 2.5Gbps or 5Gbps Ethernet, and four standard gigabit ports. This router can be a killer Wi-FI access point, but the RAX120 should be part of a larger network with a NAS to get the most out of it. Still, on its own, the RAX120 delivers excellent speeds with the hardware it needs to grow with your network in the future.

With the OnePlus 9 Pro, OnePlus has shown that it can deliver an all-round package that measures up to the best Android phones in the market today. The OnePlus 9 takes that same formula but at a more accessible price point.
Then we have the OnePlus 9R. The phone is positioned as the value option in the OnePlus 9 lineup, slotting in at ₹10,000 ($135) less than the OnePlus 9. But in reality, the OnePlus 9R is just a rebranded OnePlus 8T with a new design for the rear camera housing.
Of course, this isn t the first time OnePlus did this. The OnePlus 7 was effectively the same phone as the OnePlus 6T, but with new camera modules and an upgraded chipset. It s no surprise, then, that the OnePlus 9R is limited to India and China. OnePlus isn t launching the phone in other markets because it also understands that the 9R doesn t offer anything substantially different to the 8T.

My history with LG is fairly short, and I won t apologize for that. But, in my career, I have usually been the guy who reviews the budget and mid-range phones, and up until around 2018, that has meant, without exception, crappy phones. So when I say that the wheels kinda came off from LG after its modular attempt at the G5, I have to caveat that by saying, I never reviewed the LG G5. But I don t think you need to use a specific phone to know that having to power off and remove the battery from a phone in order to change a mod sucks.
