By @TobyChilliShow Feb 23, 2021 There’s no doubt a lot of Americans work really hard in order to be able to achieve their goals, whatever those maybe, but it turns out folks in some cities have a much stronger work ethic, and put in more work hours, than in others.  Well, WalletHub just released their annual list of the Hardest Working Cities in America, judging 116 of the largest cities in the country over 11 key factors. Those areas include: Direct Work Factors, as in average work week hours, employment rate, and workers leaving vacation on the table. Indirect Work Factors,like commute time, workers with multiple jobs and leisure time spent per day.

Photo / Getty Images Heavyweights in the trades say a broad-brush approach to the Government s apprenticeship scheme is draining funds that should go to sectors hardest hit by the skilled labour shortage. Plumbers, electricians and building representatives were also concerned people were training for the wrong reasons or employers were using them as cheap labour. But others say Government funding had helped build business confidence and more apprentices gaining qualifications was a win-win.
