SANTA FE – New Mexico state health officials on Friday announced 331 additional COVID-19 cases and 2 deaths. As of today, there are 148 individuals hospitalized in New Mexico for COVID-19. This number may include individuals who tested positive for COVID-19 out of state but are currently hospitalized in New Mexico. This number does not include New Mexicans who tested positive for COVID-19 and may have been transferred to a hospital out of state.

20 new cases in Chaves County
1 new case in Cibola County

Some 45% of people living in Lincoln County are fully vaccinated as of July 26, according to data from the New Mexico Department of Health.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention considers someone fully vaccinated two weeks after they ve been given a single-dose shot (Johnson & Johnson) or a second shot (either Pfizer or Moderna).
New Mexico reported 209,118 total cases of coronavirus, an increase of 0.75% from the week before.
The five counties with the highest percentage of their population fully vaccinated in New Mexico as of July 26 are Los Alamos County (68%), Santa Fe County (61%), Taos County (61%), Harding County (58%) and Sandoval County (56%).
