Coast COVID-19 numbers tick upward, but so do vaccinations

Good news across the board for Mississippi on COVID-19 front

Good news across the board for Mississippi on COVID-19 front Updated Feb 26, 2021; JACKSON COUNTY, Mississippi There was virtually nothing but good news in Mississippi, both statewide and locally, on the COVID-19 front as vaccinations continued to climb while cases and deaths continued a steady decline over the past week. In addition to the improving numbers, Gov. Tate Reeves announced this week that Mississippi teachers and first responders will eligible to begin receiving COVID-19 vaccinations on Monday. Currently, vaccinations are available for those 65 and older, health care workers, and those of at least 16 years of age with certain serious health conditions.
