2021 Common Good Awards We honor Rhode Island businesses of all sizes that inspire philanthropy in their employees around the state. January 7, 2021 We’re excited to once again partner with the Rhode Island Foundation in presenting the fourth annual Common Good Awards. This program recognizes Rhode Island businesses of all sizes that inspire philanthropy in their employees around the state, not by writing a check to a worthy cause, but by encouraging staff to go into the community and help. These companies also take it a step further, offering employees incentives including paid time off and making donations to charity. During this year of COVID-19, however, we pivoted and asked businesses to tell us how they innovated during the pandemic and how they helped the community during the crisis.
